A rich heritage for a modern world
The Bottle Shop might be new, but we have been buying and selling wine since 2008. Wines we love to drink from winemakers we adore.
The Maltings bottle shop takes pride of place in The Grain Store, a vaulted-flint barn restaurant.
Food and wine are at the heart of The Grain Store – on the table you will always find thoughtfully sourced, simply prepared food that’s best enjoyed in good company. The kitchen take their lead from their location with menus that move with the seasons, telling stories of the region. The wine list, bottle shop shelves and Black Book at The Maltings hold a curated collection of wines from everyday favourites and small producers, to wines given time and noble grapes.
A Big House hotel made for special moments
From evening gatherings and wine tastings, to milestone moments and wine suppers – The Maltings spaces are designed for connection, inspiration and a little magic. So whether you have something in mind, or need help, the team are on hand to bring it to life.
The Maltings has 28 bedrooms, a private dinning space in The Grain Store and an intimate tasting room and enomatic machine in The Main House. The team host both private and ticketed experiences throughout the year.
