This wine springs from The Wine Love, a natural-wine project helmed by Gonzalo Gonzalo Grijalba in Rioja.
Bright cherry-red in color, this lively Tempranillo opens with fresh aromas of strawberries, cherries, and raspberries, layered with violet florals and a subtle mineral note. The palate is juicy and vibrant, balancing red fruit, soft tannins, gentle spice, and a touch of lactic creaminess for a clean, energetic finish.
“Gran Cerdo” means “Big Pig” - a cheeky jab at bankers who wouldn’t finance the winemaker’s natural wine vision.
