Fruit for Greywacke comes from the small Judd family vineyard in Rapaura and from Sutherland family plots in the Wairau Plains and Southern Marlborough Valleys.

Producer:
Greywacke is the project of Kevin Judd, the ex-winemaker of Cloudy Bay. It has instantly attained cult status as soon as it has been released. The name comes from the indigenous Greywacke rock, typical of the Marlborough region
