Andrea Felici is a 15ha estate in Apiro, the highest of the villages surrounding the town of Jesi (Castelli di Jesi). It started estate bottling in 2003 and the modern estate’s reputation was built by Andrea Felici before he handed over to his son – Leopardo – in 2008.
During that time the estate has been converted over fully to organic farming. The Verdicchio vines are grown in the Madonna al lago, San Francesco district between 400-600 metres altitude on limestone, sand, and clay soils. The average vine age is 25 years.

Vintage:
Grapes are hand picked, cold soaked on skins for 2-3 days, then fermented with native yeasts in a mix of stainless and concrete. The wine is unoaked and aged on the lees for 3 months and in bottle for 2 prior to release.
