 Welcome to The Bottle Shop online [and in stores]

The Bottle Shop is all about discovery. We want you to discover new wines from around the world; to help you do that, we will curate wines for you to try – everything from Chablis to Champagne, and Shiraz to Sancerre.

But we also want you to discover the Bottle Shop. It’s a new online store with a rich heritage that started life in 2008 as a small shop at The Old Bridge in Huntingdon. When we discovered what was then the Wine Shop, we knew it was special.

It has a loyal customer base and a reputation for exceptional services, as well as offering good value wines to meet every budget –  the only problem is not everyone knows it is there. So, we created a plan, alongside The Wine Shop team, to capture the things everyone loved about the shop and to amplify them so that more people could enjoy what it has to offer.

How it all comes together

The result is our new website ­– The Bottle Shop online – with a plan to roll out more physical stores over time. Our Bottle Shop logo is a nod to both our past and our present (see how many elements you can identity). Our future, is about replicating the approach that the team at The Old Bridge are rightly proud of.

Customers who love coming to our shop can still find us at the Old Bridge – and new friends can join them and us for in-store events. If you find us online, you can expect a carefully curated wine selection that encourages discovery. Behind-the-scenes the team are tasting as many wines as before, and rotating the monthly selection of mixed cases with the inclusion of even more exciting discoveries.

We want this website to be as much about the team as it is about the wine, and they will be sharing their knowledge with you over the coming months.
