Thursday 27th February
The mighty river Rhône starts its life in Switzerland and exits into the Mediterranean. Most importantly it was the historical highway by which the Romans first introduced a range of grape varieties into France.
Today, this region is home to some of the most famous regions and names in the world – such as Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Split into two distinct areas – the tiny North and expansive South.
