Steve Daniel, Head buyer for Hallgarten Wines and Greek wine pioneer will lead a tutored tasting showcasing select wines from the need-to-know vineyards of Greece. For over 30 years he has been at the top of UK authority on Greek Wine, this event gives you a fantastic opportunity to tap into years of expertise and experience. Steve will be guiding you from Macedonia to Santorini and beyond, this evening is sure to keep any winter blues at bay.
Wines will be served with a selection of canapés, followed by a three course Greek menu designed by Head Ched Luke McKenna, with further specially selected wines paired to accompany each course.

Canapés:
Spanakopita (spinach & feta filo pastry pie)
Hummus on char-grilled pitta with crispy chickpea
Tempura fried calamari
Grilled lamb kofta with minted yoghurt
Fried olive skewer with tzatziki
To start:
Gilthead sea bream fillet with wilted spinach and lemon, caper and parsley butter
Main:
Slow-cooked lamb kleftiko with potatoes, bell peppers and aubergine, lemon and herb rice and orange and mango salsa
To finish:
Baklava with cardamon ice cream and candied pistachios
