The 2023 cuvée blends fruit from the Laroche vineyards (90%) with carefully selected old vine parcels (over 45 years old) managed by small growers with whom Laroche have worked closely for many years. The vines are planted on classic Kimmeridgian soils, packed with fossilized oyster shells and imparting a marked minerality on the wines. All of the vineyards are farmed following sustainable practices.

Grape variety:
100% Chardonnay

Alcohol percentage: 13.5%

Area:
A warm and sunny region temperatures are moderated by the cooling effect of the onshore breezes (hence the name of this wine).
